Those of you who cannot join the full week at the workshop in London with HUMANHOOD company dancers Mai & Piers, you can now have the option to join this workshop for the lasts two days Thursday 28th and Friday 29th September. This workshop is for professional & vocational dancers and movement practitioners passionate about embodying HUMANHOOD’s physicality & energetic quality, as well as learning the company’s choreographic repertoire.

Participants will dive into the practice and movement quality developed by Julia and Rudi, which forms the signature of HUMANHOOD Dance Company’s vocabulary. These sessions include improvisation and repertoire, giving students an opportunity to learn in detail movement sequences from the company’s previous works and the intention behind them.

Participants also receive in-depth insight into company dancers’ internal state of mind when performing the work. Dancing to the original soundtracks, you will get to embody the extraordinary choreographic style of Julia and Rudi and experience what it is like to move like a HUMANHOOD dancer.
